Less of Me Month at NanaHood

by Rachel Paxton

Nanahood.com has decided to make January “Less of Me” month. They are featuring stories about ways we can focus more on others and less on ourselves.

The challenge is to be thinking about ways you can focus on the needs of others and look around yourself for stories that inspire you to take action. Tell them what you do (how do you personally reach out to others) and who inspires you! Maybe it’s a family project that you work on with your children. Or maybe there is someone in your community that you know who volunteers weekly at the food pantry or takes the elderly to the doctor? How do you get your mind focused on others? Your stories will be included in the posts at NanaHood this month.

Here is a link to the complete post. You can submit your stories there.

Thank you so much for helping me get the word out! Today’s post is about a mother with a child who is autistic. I know her story will encourage others!

    Blessings to you!
